I met this amazing family in the fall for their family/maternity session. Fast forward to Christmas-time when their precious fourth child, a baby boy was born. I was super excited to see them again and take Peter’s newborn photos. But he has been sick and this little fighter has a bit of a journey ahead of him. I was so thankful when mom contacted me a few months later to say that things with Peter’s health are a bit more settled and would I be able to come and capture some photos in their home. Lo and behold, we caught little Peter on a day where he wanted nothing but his mama. So I had some extra time to spend with the older kids and if you know me, you know I can’t sit still so I shot photos of them just doing their thing. I love those pictures. The unplanned. The perfect. The real.
I also spent that extra time creating VIDEO for this family because I wanted to do something a little extra special. This is something I hope to do more of in the future. I need some practice as you’ll see from the shakiness (see – can’t stay still 😉 ) But overall the video portrays the love, the emotion and the every day of this family. Exactly as I want.
