I am a newborn photographer based in the Burlington, Ontario area. I believe that simple is most beautiful and that’s how I approach photographing your baby.
In-Studio Newborn sessions take place at my Burlington home studio and are best photographed when baby is up to three weeks old. I will capture your baby and all their little details in a pure, simple and natural style. I photograph newborns in-studio at this early age because they are sleepy and love to be curled up and snuggly. After that they tend to be more awake and aware of their surroundings which makes it more difficult to get those sleepy, unswaddled images. I gently direct baby for a mix of natural moments along with simple poses resulting in classic, timeless images of your baby in the truest form.
You can choose to capture just baby or add parent and siblings to your session.
I also offer in-home lifestyle newborn sessions and Older Newborn studio sessions as alternative options to capturing your new baby.

You will be welcomed into my Burlington home studio, a warm and cozy place designed so that all my newborn sessions are consistent in lighting and style. This means, what you see on my website is what you will receive in your final gallery. I have a spot for parents to sit and watch the magic unfold as we capture your baby and all their unique features.
your session.
I have over ten years experience photographing newborns. Each baby is unique in their look, their likes and their temperament. New parents sometimes worry about their baby crying or not sleeping. I've seen it all. I often get called "The Baby Whisperer" but really it's just a lot of experience reading baby's cues and having three children of my own. My style is very simple and natural. There is no "one pose" that your baby must do. I go with their flow, mood and aim to keep them happy and comfy the whole time.
the wardrobe.
There are so many gorgeous dresses and pieces in my studio wardrobe for not only baby, but for post-partum moms, baby's siblings and there's even a few tops in there for dads. Baby will be comfy in all the different wraps and swaddles I have and we can outfit them into some of the timeless and luxurious knit pieces I have in my studio collection.
our time together.
The session will last about 2 hours, depending on whether baby sleeps the whole way through or if they need to take a feeding break. We are at the mercy of your baby's schedule and if there are siblings involved, we need to allow time for them to be photographed as well. Within two weeks, you will receive your final edited online gallery where you will select your favourite images for downloading and if you wish, you can buy more and select some stunning prints and products for your home.
