I have made it a goal of mine this year to find the time (and the courage!) to put myself out there and enter some photo contests. I caught wind of Shoot and Share’s Photo Contest just as they started accepting entries for 2017. Staying true to my goal, I compiled a handful of images that I personally love and am proud of. Some of it was personal work, some client work. I was delighted to find out that one of my newborn images was ranked a finalist, two photos made into the top 10%, four images made it into the top 20% and two images made it into the top 30%. It was a ton of fun voting throughout the contest and admiring all of the amazing photos that were entered. I’ve set some new goals on entering and placing next year as well!
