I am so excited to share this maternity session with you! This was my first outdoor session of the season and Renee + Cody can attest that I was giddy as can be to be shooting outside in beautiful light again. I’ve been waiting MONTHS for this and although I love my studio sessions so much, I have a love for golden evening light that runs deep. Last weekend didn’t disappoint. We switched from an in-studio to outdoor session at the last minute because the temperature was so warm and inviting. Mother Nature… she delivered. Renee mentioned to me that she loves softer, natural light and we aimed to capture that. We headed down to the lake just before sunset and had a wonderful time. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll recognize the flower crown she is wearing. I had a wave of crafty creativity one afternoon a few days prior and I’m pretty impressed with how simple it was and how stunning it looks on Renee in the photographs. This couple’s baby girl is due in just over a month and they will make kind, loving parents. Congratulations Renee + Cody! Enjoy your maternity collection.
