I was unbelievably honoured when my dear friend asked me if I would take their family photos, something they haven’t done in years. I watched these two friends become married and then welcome a beautiful baby girl into their lives. I watched them become a family and they have done an amazing job. Their daughter is so kind-hearted and happy because she’s surrounded by people who love her and her parents have set a great example. I know my boys just absolutely adore her. Rich and Vanessa are still so in love after over 10 years of marriage and you can see it in the images. I think their secret is laughter because if there’s one thing they know how to do it’s make every situation into a fun one. We could be in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nothing and have a great time with them. Actually I think we have been in the middle of nowhere with absolutely nothing and still had days full of laugher. Vanessa and I share a love of all things Disney and one day we will eventually coordinate our schedules well enough to visit there together. We may be old and grey and they kids may have moved out, but we’ll finally ride those coasters together like two big crazy kids.
