Being an Oakville lifestyle newborn photographer is such a blessing. It allows me to meet such fabulous families during one of the most wonderful milestones of their lives. Welcoming a new baby into a home is one of the most special and magical things throughout a couple’s life story and I’m so honoured to be able to photograph these moments for them to remember forever. This time is joyful, challenging an adventure and a bit of a blur, trying to figure out all the wants and needs of this new sweet baby. It’s a time that flies by and one that you’ll wish you could have back, if just for a moment, years and years from now. So much time is spent just staring at your new baby, watching them sleep, watching their expressions change. There’s nothing else like it in the world.
From the moment I met this family, I did it with a simile on my face. Baby Myles was so sweet and his parents were warm and welcoming. We used the master bedroom, nursery and living room to photograph their first portraits together. Myles was easy going and happy just hanging out with his mom and dad. We made sure to capture photos with the family dog, Brooklyn as well. This little puppy was quite inquisitive, but gentle around his little brother. He stuck close by his parents as we went room to room for different photos.
