My three boys were gifted a family membership to the Royal Ontario Museum for their birthdays. We’ve made an effort to give them experiences over toys for holidays as much as possible. You can imagine that our house is overflowing with trucks, trains and balls as it is, and we are a family who loves to adventure every chance we get. We didn’t realize how huge this museum was. Thank goodness the membership is good for the year because it will take us multiple visits just to get through everything. Another bonus was that we didn’t have to rush – we spent a good portion of the day in the Dinosaur exhibit alone. The kids are sponges and learned so much. And my little guy, well he just ran and laughed and peeked in at the exhibits that the older boys liked, because it must be cool if big brothers are looking.
I almost didn’t pack my camera before we left home. Boy, am I glad I changed my mind and tossed it in the bag as we were walking out the door. The architecture… the leading lines… I was in heaven! Here are a few photos of our family day together. AKA – multiple pictures of my kids staring in awe at all the dino skeletons.
