This sweet couple came referred to me from another family I’ve photographed multiple times. In fact, I just delivered their most recent gallery to them today and hopefully I’ll find some time to blog those precious images soon! The L Family welcomed a baby boy into their family in the fall and contacted me earlier this year for photos. They wanted to capture photos of baby Noah but also incorporate some casual, lifestyle images of the three of them together. We decided a lifestyle family session was the perfect fit for their shoot. 5-month old Noah was such a doll. He was as happy as can be and immediately warmed up to me. We laughed at how inquisitive he was of me and my camera. Apparently we forgot to tell him the photo shoot was candid and lifestyle in nature. This made for some absolutely adorable portraits of Noah staring right into the lens as bright eyed and focused as can be. The master bedroom of the L Family’s home was bright and beautiful so we started in there and captured a ton of nice images of baby Noah alone, with both his parents and each with mom and dad separately. It was an interesting and wonderful change for me to photograph an older baby in a home environment. I do a lot of newborn sessions both in-home and in-studio so getting to interact with this handsome 5 month old boy made for a super fun and unique morning for me.
