It was a great honour to have been asked to return to this lovely family’s Oakville home to photograph their second baby. It didn’t seem that long ago that we did their first son’s newborn photos and now here’s baby boy number two! Big brother was napping when I arrived so we did all the photos with mom and dad and baby alone before he woke up. It felt just like it did a few years ago! A calm, quiet newborn session. You see when I photograph a second baby, the toddler runs the show. It has a very different vibe that photographing someone’s first baby. I try to maximize the amount of sibling and family images we get, so if a toddler wants to participate, we roll with it, because you never know when they will decide they are done. Once big brother woke up, they snuggled, read a story and interacted with him so pleasantly. Aren’t their boys sweet?! Such a gorgeous family.
