This was a super fun evening. I met this family for the first time this summer at a local castle in Hamilton. This is one of my very favourite locations for family photos because it’s so versatile and there are so many great spots all within a short walk around the castle. Often when I bring a family out to this spot, they tell me that they’ve never visited before. That makes it extra joyful for me because I get to show them around and resulting images are always fantastic. There’s grey stone walls, barnboard, white castle walls and arches, tree-lined pathways and gorgeous cream coloured columns. It’s a very neutral palette which in my option is the best because when the photos are printed and displayed, it goes with anyone’s decor.
