Meet Sawyer + Lyla! These 8-day old twins came to my studio for a newborn session recently and they were so much fun! Mom liked my simple and natural style with neutral backgrounds and minimal props. She requested photos of the twins together as well as separately, which is exactly what I do. This family has an older son, so family and sibling shots were also important to them. We captured it all! These two were little angels and slept so well for their session. Mom also mentioned that she loves the baby details I capture so while one twin fed, I focused all my attention on the other one, photographing their lashes, lips so this family would always remember their sweet newborn stage. Then together I snapped their cute little toes and profiles. It’s pretty much impossible to scroll through these images without smiling. We pulled neutral fabrics such as whites and creams and added a simple headband to Lyla at times. Sawyer has darker and fuller hair than Lyla and while they look similar, it’s fairly easy to tell them apart.
If you are expecting twins, or know someone expecting twins in the Burlington area, be sure to send them my website. I am currently booking newborns well into the fall. It’s best to inquire during the second trimester for the best chance of having space on my calendar.
