It’s so wonderful to be back in the studio. Baby boy L was one of the first babies I welcomed back into the studio after solely doing outdoor and lifestyle sessions for many, many months. I missed the sleepy poses and the curled up newborn goodness. I’m so happy that things are moving forward I can only pray that my business will be able to keep moving along without interruption this fall and winter. It makes me so sad for families who haven’t been able to get newborn photos. I’m not sure if there is a massive baby boom going on or I am still working through a big backlog from the last shutdown but I am booked up further in advance than usual. So, if you’re reading this and are expecting, don’t delay reaching out to your photographer, whether it’s me or someone else. 🙂
Here are a few favourites from L’s studio newborn session. He spent a good part of it wide awake so I got to hang out with him and his mama for awhile until he decided it was nap time.
