Being a Burlington newborn photographer means babies, babies, babies all the time and if you know me, you know this is my most favourite thing. My own kids are no longer babies but luckily I get to snuggle newborns every couple of days regardless. And, I don’t have to wake up in the night! Ha! Although, thinking back, I loved that quiet time when all the world was sleeping and I held my own close. This sweet family of three welcomed me into their Burlington home to photograph their two week old son, Max. When I arrived he was completely asleep so I started with photos of just him, capturing him swaddled up nice and cozy and all his little details. I kept commenting on how beautiful their home is. Max’s mama sure knows how to decorate. So classy, simple and gorgeous. Their master, nursery and living room all had big bright windows so we were able to use each of these rooms for our lifestyle photos. My camera was pretty spoiled with this family. Max was just the sweetest little thing. He gave me lots of stretches and adorable expressions when he woke. Once he was awake he preferred to be held close to his mom and dad so we captured lots of images of both of them cuddling their son. Here are some favourites from their first collection of family photos and I hope to photograph their family moments again as little Max grows and grows.
