Check out baby John! This family was such a pleasure to photograph. Their first “baby” is a 4-year old dachshund that was just the sweetest and most curious little thing. They requested a family photo involving their doggie but she was determine to be the star of the show and photobombed quite a few shots. I didn’t mind one bit. She was extremely calm and careful around her new baby brother. Baby John was having a bit of an off morning during my visit but the great thing about lifestyle sessions is we can go with the flow of baby. If they wish to be cuddled, we can do that. If the wish to be swaddled or unswaddled, no problem! Each session is so unique because we follow the lead of baby. So we captured lots of images of these new parents loving on their 10-day old son. Because John was awake for his session I had the opportunity to capture his different expressions. I also caught some beautiful eye contact.
This little boy is so fiercely loved and it was a wonderful thing to photograph. Thanks for having me M Family. Enjoy your gallery for years to come. Here are some favourites from our morning together.
