This family newborn session was a blast. I had already met this family for their maternity and newborn photos with their first born, so having them back into the studio with baby #2 was super fun for me. Often parents are worried if the big sibling will be still and take photos with the new baby. Sometimes it’s quite easy and sometimes it’s harder. Getting active toddlers who have just had their whole life uprooted with this new baby to be still and “pose” is not the easiest job, but I’ve got lots of tricks up my sleeve. Over the 10+ years I’ve been doing this, I feel like I’ve seen it all. This little guy was excited but busy. We captured beautiful photos of their new family of four and some cute sibling photos as well.
Baby girl R was so adorable and we had a great time fussing over her cuteness and capturing all her tiny details. We pulled out the girly bows, props and blankets from my studio closet and ended up with a huge gallery of images for this family to always remember this time. Welcoming a new baby into a family is a big event and it may seem overwhelming to pack up and come to a studio for newborn photos. It may be a chaotic morning getting out of the house, but once you arrive, my studio is a relaxing and calm environment. I’ll make everything super easy and you’ll be glad you came.
