6-day old Audrey came into my Burlington studio from Oakville for her newborn session. She brought along her mom and two grandmas for help and support. It was amazing to have all these ladies in the studio. We were all gushing over sweet baby Audrey and the grandmas had wonderful time watching me swaddle and gently direct their new granddaughter into adorable natural poses. This little miss was so sleepy for most of her session. We captured some photos with mom at the start and then moved onto her baby alone images. Audrey had the longest eyelashes I’ve seen on a newborn in awhile! Mom expressed that she just absolutely loves the newborn detail images I capture so we made sure to get lots of those for her gallery. Audrey had this beautiful unique little hair whorl on her forehead that mom pointed out. Of course I had to get a detail shot of that as well. Baby girl has a nursery with beige colours and neutrals so we used those fabrics in her session so that her newborn imagery fits in nicely on her walls as artwork. Near the end of her session we were about to do some baby on black images and Audrey woke up and decided to be wide awake so we switched the plan and I got some baby awake images that I totally love. Looking at these shots I’m happy she decided to show her eyes for a bit. She made the cutest expressions on her little face and had bright alert eye contact with me. It was fabulous.
