Still getting caught up on blogging all my holiday babies! Baby Aiden came into the studio with his mama and big sister for newborn photos a little while ago when he was six days old. He was such a sweet and handsome little guy. He loved to be swaddled up all tight and snuggly. Big sister was a busy and adorable toddler. This mama sure has her hands full. But around her brother she was intrigued and loving as you can see from this first image. Babies are fascinating and this sister gets that even at a young age. When Aiden fell into a deep enough sleep that I could unswaddle him, he loved his legs outstretched, just like a breech baby even though he wasn’t breech. He had me giggling with some of the positions he put himself in. He was a great little sleeper for his whole session and we were done fairly quickly. We captured lots of detail images of his lips, toes, lashes, hair wisps and fingers. Those shots always make my heart sing. They make for such pretty artwork pieces for around the home and to decorate the nursery. All those newborn details change so quickly so it’s important to capture all of those sweet memories as soon as possible.
While we used all neutral fabrics and colours to style his session there is one pop of red and you’ll see why in the last image. Thanks so much, W Family for a great session. Your two children are absolutely perfect. Here are some favourites from baby Aiden’s newborn gallery. Enjoy!
