“Monday’s child is fair of face….” – Anonymous
This is a quote that my mother always said to me and it came to mind multiple times when editing up this sweet baby girl’s photos. I was born on a Monday just like this beautiful girl and share her fair skin too. Baby Girl L was so adorable. She was wide awake with those big, beautiful eyes for part of our studio newborn session but then she also had a nice snooze and gave me some darling smiles in the process. We even captured a BIG yawn and that’s just the cutest thing. She was so fair and had a tiny little dusting of hair on her head. Her mama was drawn to my photos because they are simple, natural and kept the focus on baby and their important details. This baby girl had some peeling newborn skin, but get this, in one section on her arm, it was peeling in the shape of a heart. I made sure to get a nice clear detail shot of that because that’s pretty unique and special.
