It was so great to meet this couple to celebrate their pregnancy with a maternity session. They recently moved to Canada together from living in Croatia for years. They survived their first Canadian winter and are now expecting a beautiful surprise gender baby! This gorgeous mama showed up with a stunning, flowy dress and I might have danced a little happy dance. I said to her – we’re going to have some fun with this dress! And we did. They were so adorable, sweet and deep in love. I had them stand patiently down at the marina because I liked the Canadian flag in the background and was waiting for a little gust of wind to make it flutter. Such a symbolic thing to include in their photos as they have made quite a number of changes in their journey of life over the last year. I cannot wait to see if they have a little boy or a little girl and meet their bundle of joy for newborn photos later this summer!
