First birthday sessions are bittersweet. This family booked my milestone package, which is a series of sessions during the first year of baby’s life. They chose maternity, newborn and first birthday. We ended up doing her outdoor newborn photos when baby A was about 3 months old. Look at how much she’s grown and changed since I saw her again this spring shortly after she turned one. She was a serious little girl as a newborn and is holding strong with her serious stare. So, so cute. We headed out to a trail by the lake and it was absolutely perfect weather that evening. We captured a huge gallery of gorgeous images for this family. It was the first time mom put her daughter’s hair in pigtails so of course I had to document that with a detailed image. I’m aways a bit sad when a baby’s milestone sessions come to an end, but thankfully this family reached out right after they received their gallery expressing interest in doing future sessions. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again.
