Benjamin was welcomed into the world by his sweet, happy family on the very last day of April. Ten days later I met up with this new family of four at their Burlington home. Instantly I loved their living room, not only for the bright, happy light but all the memories that hung on the wall above them. Big sister Ayla was so inquisitive of me and what I was doing so I made her my helper a couple of times. She was gentle and proud to show me her baby brother. We photographed a good portion of Benjamin’s session in her room because it was such a neat space with the window seat. I’m pretty sure Ayla and Ben’s mommy and I share the same favourite colours because her home was decorated in all the shades that make my heart sing.
