I often get emails from parents who are so worried that they have missed the newborn window, but still wish to have photos captured of their new precious baby. I get it, bringing a baby into the world is a huge deal and turns your entire life upside down. Those first few weeks are all about survival and making it through the day feels like a big accomplishment, because it is! I’m happy to be sharing these images today because it will prove that older newborn sessions can be just as amazing as those sessions done when baby is less than 2 weeks old.
This lovely family is part of my milestone program. They booked maternity, newborn and sitter sessions during baby’s first year. Unfortunately, last winter we entered another lockdown so their newborn photos had to be delayed. I dealt with a ton of this over the last couple of years so there are MANY examples of older newborn sessions on my blog. When we finally got to schedule their session, baby girl was 2 months old. She rocked her older baby newborn session! Just look at her great eye contact and interaction with her parents. We were all so pleased with her final gallery.
