This family is so great and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to photograph their third newborn! I have done quite a few sessions for this family, but funny enough, this was our first newborn session together, even though that’s my speciality. We’ve had plenty of great sessions together – sitter age, outdoor family, in-home older baby sessions but I was extra excited to show them what I can do in the studio with a newborn. They ended up coming in when baby girl L was 5-weeks old, what I consider to be an older newborn. Understandably, with 3 little ones, it can take a bit longer to adjust to life with a new baby. With older siblings, I usually find they do better when they have also had time to adjust, so planning on a newborn session when baby is around 1-month old works out really well.
Baby girl L was a doll and so great for her photos. We captured both awake and sleeping images of her as well as many, many family photos. Here’s some images from their huge final gallery.
