Right from their first email, this family knew they wanted to wait until their baby was a bit older before having newborn photos captured. Let’s face it, those first few weeks are a blur, agree? New parents are getting used to having this brand new baby in their lives, they are up all night, visitors are constantly popping over to meet their new bundle of joy and half the time they don’t know whether it’s a Saturday night or Wednesday morning. I remember those days… This family loved images on my blog where baby is a bit older because they are more alert, expressive and chubbier so we planned on doing the photos for when Baby A was 4-6 weeks old. It was so great. She had a ton of personality and spunk (see the last image). For most of the session, baby A was awake and had great eye contact with the camera, then for a wee bit near the end, she fell asleep and we were lucky to capture some sleepy baby images as well. It was a great mix within their big gallery. This family’s dog was also a superstar. So well behaved and adorable with their new human sibling. Here’s a few favourites from their gallery earlier this year.
